Personal Efforts: Never Too Small
Comparing with giant organizations such as PETA and PAWs,
personal efforts devoted in animal protection are never
too small to receive attention and respect.
Many of them are individual activists, or school-based animal protection club.
Social media such as weebly, blogspot,
twitter, and facebook is the favourite tool in their animal campaign.
Here are some examples:
Exotic Pet Campaign is a student-run weebly site, dedicating in publicizing the cons of raising exotic pet. Based on the posts of the site, many of exotic pet suffered from the pet trade and could not live well in the new adopted environment. Moreover, many of the pets are taken, captivated, and traded illegally. It is very possible for them to carry bacteria and viruses that might be harmful to human.

China Small Animal Protection Association(CSAPA) is one of the animal protection organization in China. It is co-operated by student government of 10 universities around China. CSAPA takes its major action on weibo.com (the chinese version of twitter). It posts on daily basis with some small act that people would perform in helping animals.
